The International Conferences on Creationism, (ICC) have served to greatly further the creation model of origins. The 2008 International Conference on Creationism, sponsored by the Creation Science Fellowship, Inc. (CSF) and the Institute for Creation Research is extending the high standards set in the previous five conferences (1986, 1990, 1994, 1998. 2003).

The ICCs have been recognized as the world's premier gathering of creation researchers. ICC2008 is dedicated to providing:

  1. A technical forum for the latest creation research, and
  2. A coherent platform for the pedagogical, professional, and legal issues involved in the teaching of creation science at the secondary and tertiary levels.

The sponsors of the ICCs maintain that the discipline of creation is a binding element unifying all areas and disciplines including science, education, history, sociology, medicine, mathematics, etc. It is therefore, an intention of the ICC's to provide a forum for the rigorous development and systemization of the creation model of origins.

Behind the polemics of the creation/evolution controversy are questions of scientific and philosophical importance. The inherent and obvious design of the cosmos screams of a Designer, and the diversity and unity of this universe tell of the Designer's Nature. The notion of universal design does not relegate creation to religion; rather it proves the need for open discussion in the scientific, philosophical, theological, and academic communities. The origins debate is a watershed issue that needs to be addressed. Creation researchers need to develop their model in order to offer the only alternative to the evolutionary world-view.

The papers submitted to the ICC are subject to peer-review.  The guidance for this rigorous review process and the resulting final paper are contained in the following governing documents:

History
The Creation Science Fellowship sponsored the First International Conference on Creationism (ICC) in Pittsburgh in 1986. The Second International Conference on Creationism was held in July/August 1990. The International Conference's are recognized around the world as the preeminent gathering for technical exchange on the topic of creation science. The ICC brings together the world's top creationists for a technical conference. It has two main purposes: general and technical. Its intention is to provide something for everyone, from entry level presentations on various topics in creation science to a highly technical, peer reviewed symposium, with planned rebuttals and discussions.

The Creation Science Fellowship
The CSF has set a high standard for quality in creation science research and investigation. The creation science community now looks to the CSF to continue this leadership, with the ICC as a premier forum where new ideas and honest differences can be expressed to continue to improve the creation model of origins.

The CSF concludes the best way to do this is to emphasize the data and facts interpreted from a Biblical perspective. They do their science with a priori religious beliefs and the scientific facts as a foundation. They avoid the subjective arguments that appear in much of the literature concerning the creation/evolution debate.

ICC Proceedings
The chronicles of the ICC Conferences are contained in multi-volume hard-bound sets available from the CSF. These volumes contain hundreds of pages of articles from authors throughout the world on various topics of creation science. These books are key documents, helping the technical understanding of creation science to mature. The CSF serves as a forum for creation authors to present their work. The CSF considers these authors as our patrons, encouraging them to succeed through the ICC.
